I want to become a member of the GFM Renovables Foundation
Do you have our same goals? Do you share our vision and values? Do you think that what we do is really worth it? Then we can travel together through this exciting journey towards a more just energy for everyone and a more efficient and cleaner world.
We offer you to participate in this adventure, being part of our team. We have great challenges ahead!
I would like to make a donation.
If you want to be part of the work of the GFM RENOVABLES Foundation and you want to make a significant financial contribution to reducing energy poverty, social inclusion of the most vulnerable groups and the protection of nature, now you can.
Your collaboration will make you part of our projects, promoting sustainability policies and conservation strategies, which will create value for everyone.
It is necessary that you fill out this small form, as part of our transparency policy, and specify the amount you want to donate, in which way you want (transfer or direct debit) and with what frequency (punctual or periodic).
Your contribution is very valuable to achieve our challenge. Materialize the change in the energy sphere in projects that improve people’s lives.
Soon we will inform you of the new project we are working on so that you can join us!
This ongoing project is being developed by GFM together with one of the international offices of the NGO Rescate and the local partner Future Pioneers within a project of the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID).
The general objective of the project is to provide access to drinking water in a sustainable and inclusive way in one of the driest countries in the world. This access will be carried out with the installation of two atmospheric generators for drinking water in a training center in the municipality of Al Sarhan (Jordan). The electrical consumption of these machines, as well as the rest of the demands of the center, will be met by a 15kW photovoltaic self-consumption installed on the roof of the center.
Through access to water and electricity, the aim is to create the appropriate conditions to improve cohesion between the local community and the refugee. The local partner will be in charge of raising awareness in the use of available resources.
The project was subsidized by the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID), with € 114,672 in 2019.
ACCESS TO DRINKING WATER AND SOCIAL COHESION AMONG SYRIAN REFUGEES AND THE JORDAN POPULATION THROUGH A SUSTAINABLE CENTER. Jordan.
WATERNERGY is a GFM project based on the design and development of a portable, autonomous and innovative photovoltaic solution capable of providing reliable, profitable and uninterrupted electricity and drinking water from an atmospheric water generator. As a result, water and electricity will be provided by the same solution in a self-sufficient way.
Its aim is to fight energy poverty in those parts of the developing world by providing clean water and renewable energy, using natural resources efficiently.
The WATERENERGY solution will be packaged in a single container to facilitate logistics operations if needed. Accordingly, the system will be configured in a 40-foot container in compliance with international logistics standards.
In terms of improving efficiency, the solution will have an intelligent management system that will allow the proper functioning of the system to be controlled based on data on ambient temperature, humidity, solar radiation or the state of the equipment. Due to this, the solution will be managed remotely thanks to the data input from the PPP that will be developed in-house.
The project will be financed by the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha.
